Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphone supports four network technologies. These are GSM, HSPA, LTE, and 5G. HSPA extends and improves the performance of existing 3G mobile telecommunication networks using the WCDMA protocols. LTE  is a standard for wireless broadband communication for mobile devices and data terminals, based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA technologies.

Global System for Mobile Communications is a standard developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute to describe the protocols for second-generation digital cellular networks used by mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets. And 5G is the fifth generation technology standard for cellular networks, which cellular phone companies began deploying worldwide in 2019

Display

Now, let us take a look at the display this tablet has to offer. We all love a good display on a tablet for obvious reasons. Namely, the display is the one part of a phone you will ever interact with. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 has an amazing display panel that measures 6.7 inches, 108.4 cm2. It is a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that supports 16M colors and multi-touch. This display has a high 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and an equally high 393 PPI density. The phone has an Always-on display feature and HDR10+.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) format created by Samsung was designed to expand on the HDR10 format by allowing for dynamic metadata to continuously tweak the display settings so that you’re always seeing the most and best color possible. While in the subject of the display, it would not be a Note if it did not come with that S-Pen. Samsung Galaxy Note 20’s Stylus has 26ms latency with Bluetooth integration, accelerometer, and gyro. The pen of the Ultra has 9ms latency so be sure to note this distinction.

Platform

A phone platform is the hardware/software environment for tablets, smartphones, and other portable devices. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 runs on the Android 10 operating system. On top of Android 10 is One UI 2. One UI 2 is a software overlay developed by Samsung Electronics for its Android devices running Android Pie and higher. Succeeding Samsung Experience UX and TouchWiz, it is designed to make using larger smartphones easier and become more visually appealing. These two work hand in hand to bring you the most intelligent system experience, featuring a fresh interface, from the home page to app icons, font sizes to background colors.

Also powering Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is an Octa-core (2×2.73 GHz Mongoose M5 & 2×2.50 GHz Cortex-A76 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55), Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865+ chipset. Under the hood, it also brings a Mali-G77 MP11 GPU. Snapdragon 865+ is a great chipset. It scales 5G and leading 5th gen AI to power next-generation, premium devices with breakthrough features—from Gigapixel speed photography to desktop-level gaming features to staggering multi-gigabit 5G connectivity. – source. This is not all. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 comes with 128 / 256 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage coupled with 8GB of RAM. You can still expand Galaxy Note 20’s storage using a dedicated micro SD slot.

Its main feature is HDR and it can shoot video up to 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30fps. Here are some of the camera features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 – LED flash, auto-HDR, and panorama.
